How to Burn a CD Without Programs

In this tutorial you will learn how to burn a CD or DVD without programs from Windows, that is, we will not use or install any programs but we will do everything from Windows itself.

This way you can burn any file you want on a CD or divide, for example, you can burn movies, documents music, photos, etc., everything you want and before starting I want to mention that everything you will learn below can be applied without problems in the versions of Windows 7, 8 or 10 without further ado, let's get started.

The first thing you will have to do is insert the CD or divide it into the disk reader of your computer. In my case I already did it and now it will show you this small window. Look, this automatically appeared. I closed it and then entered Windows Explorer.

To do this, press the Windows key. + and that it will automatically load said windows explorer and now in this part you must click where it says divide unit in my case it says that divide unit w and the one automatically assigned the letter w and in your case another letter may be shown it is not interesting just now I'm going to double click on that drive. That way this window should load automatically and here in the first box you should give it a name, the name you want for your CD.

Then select this first option that is marked as a USB flash drive, that way you can record any type of file on your site, as I mentioned, movies, photos, videos, etc. Likewise, scd or split will be compatible with any version of Windows from windows xp onwards and now if we press the next button and wait a few seconds for it to finish formatting quickly, that will happen and the windows explorer will automatically close and it now shows me this small window, I close it, click on the x and I will go back to Enter Windows Explorer as I told you, press the Windows key + E and now I am going to locate the file that you want to burn on my CD, so I go here to my files and I am going to burn any file that I want.

For example, this word document which I just selected, then I click with the right mouse button on file and now it shows me this menu, I go to where it says send to and I click on the last option that says divide unit, I click there like that It will begin to copy itself in that way it will begin to record said file on my CD or DVD and it is a matter of waiting a few seconds for it to finish recording it and in this case it quickly finished recording because it was a file that weighed very little and let's assume that It was the only file I wanted to burn now finally do the following here on the left side where it says an idea of dividing you click with the right mouse button and now click where it says eject and we wait a few seconds for it to eject the disk.

I'm going to insert it again and here on the left side the cde drive should appear again / we wait a few seconds that I just inserted and notice now this small window appears, I close it and here on the left side I click on the divide unit and notice there it shows the only file that we have recorded on our CD or DVD. and if you wanted to burn another file on this same cd you would have to repeat the same steps.

Uninstall a Program in Windows 10: Guide Step by Step

Uninstalling unnecessary programs in Windows 10 is a simple operation to perform, but also essential to keep your computer healthy.

How to uninstall a program in Windows 10

If you want to remove software from Windows 10, the most common solution is:

1. Open the Start menu at the bottom left of the screen

2. Click on the Settings menu

3. In the Windows settings window, click on the Programs menu

4. If necessary, select the "Applications and features" link.

5. Click on the app you want to remove

6. Finish by clicking the Uninstall button

Remove programs from the Settings menu

To perform this action, click the Start icon at the bottom left of the screen and then the Settings icon.

When the Windows settings window opens, select the Applications icon

In this last window, you can check the list of all programs installed on your computer, sorted by size. It is also possible, if you wish, to sort the list by name or by installation date.

The input field at the top of the list allows you to search for an application. All you have to do is type the name of the app to uninstall it.

Once you find the app you want to remove, click on it and then tap the Uninstall button. A pop-up window warns you that the program and all data associated with it will be deleted. Click Uninstall to confirm your selection.

A window may ask if you allow Windows to make changes to the computer. In this case, confirm by clicking the Yes button.

Uninstall an application from the Windows Start menu

Since Windows 8, it is also possible to delete a program directly from the Start menu. This manipulation is faster than the previous one and gives the same result. However, depending on how your Start menu is organized, it may be more difficult to find the app to uninstall.

To do this, go to your Start menu by clicking on the Windows icon at the bottom left of the screen. Manipulation is possible both on tiles and in the list of applications. Right-click the desired program, and then click Uninstall in the context menu that appears.

You cannot uninstall programs installed by default by Windows using this method. Additionally, the Uninstall option does not appear for these types of applications.

If it's a Windows 10 app, a pop-up will warn you that the program and this data will be lost forever. Confirm it by clicking the Uninstall button.

For other applications, the control panel window will open, where you will find the list of applications. Find the one you want to remove, then click the uninstall button at the top of the list.

A pop-up window asks you to confirm the uninstall, click Yes Depending on the program, a window may open that guides you through the uninstall process.

Uninstall the software in the Windows Control Panel

The last possible method to uninstall a program in Windows 10 is to use the Control Panel. To access it, right-click on the Windows icon (Start Menu) at the bottom right of your screen. From the context menu, select Control Panel.

Another solution to access it is to access the Cortana control panel and then click on the corresponding menu, as shown in the image below:

The corresponding window will open, then click the Uninstall a program link.

The list of all programs available on your computer will appear on your screen. Click on the one you want to remove, then tap the uninstall button at the top of the list of programs.

If necessary, follow the uninstall instructions to complete the operation.

There is no right or wrong way to uninstall software or app in Windows 10, these 3 methods give the same result. It is up to you to see, try and do what is most comfortable for you.

Install a clean program in Windows 10

Although the methods described above are simple and practical, they are not the most effective. In fact, when you uninstall a program using Windows' built-in tools, it has the unfortunate tendency to leave unnecessary traces on your hard drive and registry.

In some very rare cases, this debris can interfere and cause your computer to crash.

If you really want to clean and uninstall the software as cleanly as possible, it is recommended to use the uninstaller software.

Here is the list of the most popular cleaning programs:

Cleaner

IObit Uninstaller

For my part, most of the time I'm happy with the tools built into Windows. I use this type of software for really special occasions or to clean my computer once in a while.

Do you regularly uninstall your unnecessary programs? What methods do you use? Do you know of any other cleaning programs? Share it by leaving a comment.
